Parent Orientation Events
Create two events to introduce parents to center policies and classroom policies. One center event for ALL new parents. And one classroom event for the parents whose children are currently attending the classroom. Please be very detailed and specific.
Event Title: New Parent Welcome and Orientation
Objective: Introduce all new parents to the center’s policies, facilities, and staff, fostering a welcoming and informative environment.
Date and Time: August 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Main Auditorium, Community Childcare Center
Agenda:
- Welcome and Registration (6:00 PM – 6:15 PM)
- Parents sign in and receive welcome packets, which include the center’s policy handbook, a map of the facility, contact information for key staff, and a schedule for the evening.
- Light refreshments available.
- Introduction by Center Director (6:15 PM – 6:30 PM)
- The Center Director welcomes parents, introduces the leadership team, and provides an overview of the center’s mission, vision, and values.
- Emphasis on the importance of parental involvement and open communication.
- Presentation on Center Policies (6:30 PM – 7:00 PM)
